The largest university in the U.S. is a constraint, not a footnote.

Texas A&M is the largest university in the United States by enrollment. When the university wanted a student-engagement and resource platform, "it works for small groups" wasn't good enough. They needed something built for 70,000+ Aggies who would, collectively and simultaneously, expect it to work.

The MaroonBase initiative (also known as LAUNCH) needed to bring together the sprawling Texas A&M digital ecosystem - resources, connections, events, and community - in a platform that felt native on mobile and held up at scale. Higher-ed software has a reputation. We were determined not to add to it.

A single codebase delivering iOS, Android, and web. A&M students don't all use the same phone - the platform couldn't either. Native performance without splitting the team.

AWS Backend Architecture

Designed for the traffic spikes a 70,000-person campus generates. Load balancing and managed services that absorb a campus-wide push without a moment - elastic to back-to-school, finals, and game days.

Engagement-First Product Design

Student software lives and dies on whether students actually use it. We worked with the TAMU team to learn what students needed versus what administrators hoped they'd use. The difference matters.

Ongoing Support Model

Not a ship-and-goodbye engagement. We stayed embedded through iterations, feature expansions, and the ongoing work of supporting a platform at this scale.
