If you're reading this, you've found our website - welcome. We hope you're finding useful ideas, straight answers, and maybe a laugh or two. This page isn't the most glamorous thing we've ever shipped, but our lawyers insist, and honestly they have a point: clear terms protect both of us.

What's ours stays ours

You may download, display, and print one copy of our materials on a single computer for personal, non-commercial use, provided you don't modify anything and you keep all copyright and proprietary notices intact. Anything beyond that - copying, republishing, uploading, transmitting, distributing - needs our prior written consent.

If you bring proceedings against Inventive, you acknowledge we're free to choose the jurisdiction we prefer; since you've agreed Texas law governs, we'll probably choose Texas, wherever in the world you're located.

You're responsible for complying with the laws of wherever you're accessing this site from, and you agree not to use this site's information in violation of those laws.

What you send us

Unless we expressly say otherwise, information you submit through this site is treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. You represent that you have the legal right to submit whatever you send, and you agree not to submit anything you aren't entitled to share. The internet is an open place - please don't submit anything you consider confidential.

Unsolicited ideas

Inventive doesn't accept unauthorized idea submissions outside established business relationships. Without a documented confidential relationship, we can't and don't treat submissions as confidential - which means we may develop, use, or publish similar ideas without compensating you.

We'll make every reasonable effort to return or destroy unauthorized submissions without a detailed review. If a review turns out to be necessary (at our sole discretion), it happens with the understanding that Inventive assumes no obligation of confidentiality or compensation. By submitting an idea through this website, you agree to this policy.
