What Is The Inventive Cares Fund?
HOW DOES THE INVENTIVE CARES FUND WORK?
As we hinted at, our partnerships with businesses allow us to grow the funds that are then used to assist nonprofits. Here’s how it works:
- We build a new website, design a mobile app, or update your site’s infrastructure for your business. (All projects count!)
- 10% of the revenue we generate from that project is then donated in your name to our Inventive Cares Fund, providing technology for veterans, women in tech, and first responders
- We then select a charitable organization that would benefit from our free assistance on a project of their own.
- We complete the project for the nonprofit that is likely to benefit our communities as a whole.
Another way to look at this is that with every project we complete, a portion of the hours spent on the project is added to the fund. For example, with our recent completion of the Texas A&M Muster website, we were able to add 60 hours to our Cares Fund, which is going to make a true impact on the lives of so many people.
HOW CAN BUSINESSES GET INVOLVED?
Getting involved with the Inventive Cares Fund is simple! All you need to do is partner with us to work on a project you’ve already been needing to complete. Whether it’s a brand new website, moving to the cloud, boosting your organic traffic, or designing a mobile application, you’ll be able to improve your business while helping your community.
If you’re interested in becoming a client, schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your business’ needs!
HOW ARE NONPROFITS SELECTED?
We typically select nonprofits to assist with our Cares Fund on a quarterly basis, however depending on need, that timeline can be accelerated. If you know of a nonprofit that could benefit from the services we provide, at a low cost or no cost to them, we encourage you to nominate them using this form with an explanation of how they would benefit. Conversely, if you’re a nonprofit, you can also share your business’ pain points and how we can help alleviate them with our offerings.
We most recently assisted the nonprofit, The Mary Lee Foundation, whose mission is to serve adults with special needs so they’re able to develop a sense of dignity, self-worth, and the skills needed to integrate with and contribute to society. We assisted the Foundation with a WordPress site migration and the addition of the site builder, Divi, so that The Mary Lee Foundation would be able to maintain the website without Inventive. We were thrilled to be able to assist an organization that does so much for our community.
